The Apartment Part VI: Our Little Villa

After 7 months of preparation, our Little Villa is finally ready for viewing ;-)

I can never understand some people’s passion about the home before. How they would go all out decorating, spending so much, buying stuff from all over, until I have a place of my own of course. With all our hard work and effort that we have put in, we have created a very comfy and wonderful little hide-out from the world. After a long hard day at work or a chaos family gathering, we really looking forward to go back to our place – to do just nothing. You hardly feel like going out – at all (which we hardly get the chance to do really ;p) I think I will get home sick if I have to be away from my home now. Hehehe…it’s ok if you don’t understand how I feel. It’s ok if you don’t get it. Cause I used to not get-it either.

It is like having a new born baby to a newly-wed parent. Our Little Villa is our new born baby. And we are so in love with it!

New Hair-Do!!

It is not something I decide overnight (unlike my sis-in-law-Nadeetos ;p). It was after many many many many many thoughts and deep deep deep deep thinking, that I decided to chop-off my curls.

Part of it cause hubby was nagging that I am taking too much time to get ready especially in the morning (not really lar k ;p) And being married, the hair ‘maintenance’ does not come easy. Washing and drying it up. Getting it curled or straight on most days is hassle too. My salon visit and treatments has dropped tremendously unlike during single days where you can just go as and when you feel like it. But now I have to check if hubby is up to something to actually make a trip.( And he hardly has any!! ;p)

So after months of preparation especially mentally, I am wearing my short hair – after the last one I had in 1999. That’s like 10 years ago?! Gosh, I have always loved my long hair. And how I can wear it up,down,straight or other wise.

It is one of the many things that take a lot of courage for me to do, but hey…I actually love it! Like a fresh new look and hubby is so right about the getting ready part – hehehehe ;p

Z’s Engagement

Finally, my favorite bro got engage. For an engagement I think the hassle that he has to go thru is a bit too much, but praise be to God, he manage to go thru it gracefully.

And as usual, if there is a wedding in a family I will be The One who will sebok the most (actually depends on who lar ;p). But I am very much excited planning for Z’s wedding erk engagement as it is very much of planning my own – i.e. he will get the best of everything – anything that could have been the one I will have on mine ;p

So to begin with, the hantarans. With my first attempt using fresh flowers, I think it is pretty impressive kot…hikhik….but anyways, all in all it was a good event with us being the groom side, nothing much to prepare honestly. Trust me, Z was stuck with my hubby playing PS2 five mins before we depart. Teruk kan? ;p
